Trades 9/26/2008
No more trades this week until the Bankers Welfare Program is approved by congress. There are still some republicans in congress that are willing to go against the socialist George Bush. BTW JP Morgan gets bigger and bigger. Just like in the great depression. No surprise there? It took me all week to get out of that GBP/USD trade without a loss. For sure it was due to the crazy swings caused by the US governments new welfare program.

Financial Aid
What is happening with the financial aid from the government is nothing more than what happened when the banks consolidated in 1929. That was an orchestrated event, just like this one is. The only question I have is where is my money?
Also, have no doubt that the timing of this was to ensure that Obama would get elected. Why? Because if taxes are raised (and they will under Obama) that enables the big banks to get more money from the masses. When the Federal Reserve prints money we (the taxpayers) have to pay interest to them. To make matters worse inflation skyrockets because every time they print a dollar the value of money goes down because it is not backed to anything of value. Bottom line is that with Obama the big bankers will have more productive sheeple.
FYI
Obama's top financial advisors ran Fannie and Freddie and guess what, both made millions. The truth is McCain introduced legislation that would have prevented many of these questionable loans from being made. Of course the liberal democrats (Obama and Biden) prevented it because it would have prevented minorities from getting loans.
I don't know about you, but to me I don't care what color your skin is, if you can't afford the loans you should not get them. I am sure that Obama's judgment was clear and was not influenced by the men that are now his financial advisors. Right.
Vote for McCain. It is the lesser of two evils. Obama and the Big Bankers.

Trades 9/16/8
The EUR/JPY and AUD/JPY trades would have worked well, but they were not initially executed due to the orders expiring. My broker only uses day order. I eventually was able to enter EUR/JPY but was not able to exit because my profit order expired prior to my exit price being hit. I mention this as an example of being careful.

Lehman Brothers
As you all know Lehman Brothers is in big trouble. It's going to get worse since Barclays pull out of negotiations to bail them out.

Another link. The media bias is incredible. FYI Obama supporters. I registered to vote today with the help of one of your paid voter registration drives. Unfortunately for you I will vote for McCain. Why? I vote with my pocketbook and Obama is nothing more than a socialist. He lives in a mansion himself (with assistance from a criminal he helped with legislation), but wants the common people (us) to live under the government's benevolent hands. No thank you.

Trades 9/14/2008
Currently there are not recommended trades. The markets are changing most likely due to the effects of Hurricane Ike in the Gulf of Mexico. Once oil production is back to normal, most likely we will see a resumption of the previous trends.

Obama
I know this post is out of the realm of this blog, but I just could not resist.
I guess Sarah Palin is a "PIG"
Obama had a shot at getting elected as long as he kept his mouth shut.
He is an empty suit and people are starting to see it.
Click on this link to read about it or go to the drudgereport.

Oil Prices
I just have to get this off my chest once and for all. Oil prices are high because of the falling dollar. Oil is pegged to the dollar and the current monetary policy of the federal reserve (interest rates below the level of inflation) has caused the price of oil to rise. Speculators simply saw an opportunity to make money (that's what they do). There is an abundance of oil in the United States (Shale in the plains states and Alaska) that should be used to break our dependence on foreign oil, not as a means of lowering prices. The obvious solution to the price is to raise interest rates so that the dollar has value. Ideally, this should have been done a couple years ago when we were not in a depression. High interest rates will equal low oil prices.
